  This is a great little hidden gem! It's available to military and is an inexpensive alternative to local hotels. It's within the gated base of the Coast Guard station and has 4 different options for rentals. Each A-frame has two small apartments. We stayed in the two bedroom on the bottom of the forest view. Both A-frames are right next to each other and pretty much have a similar view. The best part is it's right by the lake and it also close to restaurants and shopping. There is a public dock right next door.
